I don't care who John I Burton Schedules, the Experience they would get from playing a NFL Team won't even keep them Close to Union. I said it before I think Burton's Schedule is on par with what the Little division guys should be playing, they are Cupcakes, and as such should play mostly other cup cakes. I know burton is a good D1 Team, but Basically now thats like being a tall midget.

Really????????????????????????????????? Guess you haven't watched much football around these parts in the past few years. Here are a few numbers for you to digest

Since 2005 Burton is 5-1 vs PV and 8-0 vs Appalachia (counting playoffs)
In those 6 games Burton outscored the mighty Vikings 144-72 and outscored the mighty Dawgs 347-80 in those 8 contest.

I fully expect the Burton/Union game to be a good one, the key will be the Burton passing attack as to how successful they will be in this game. But hey, guess I shouldn't go since you say the Raiders "won't keep it close"

I will chime in on is because teams like Burton and Clintwood have success these chickenshit coaches avoid them or drop them. We have had Honaker and Abingdon on the schedule and they drop us because they get out played out coached and beat. Lee and John Battle caled wanting to play us to see how they were to us, plus to test their kids. Why do we keep Rye Cove well their coach likes to be tested to see where his team is at and were their biggest home gate when we go there, plus you don't see our team redneck people or showboat.
Is their anything to gain by us playing Richlands, not at all except to get a key player hurt and the rest of our season goes in the tank, we have a choice not to play them it's not like having to play PV pre 2002 thats a district game and we always got a key player hurt that affected us the rest of the season. Look at Clintwood they didn't want to play Grayson or Hazard but like i said before none of these coaches wanted to play them and when the District loses two teams your grasping to find someone to play.

I agree with you on the richlands bit that too big of a team but just as ryecove and teams like that want to play JIB to be tested, JIB needs to play George Wythe and or Radford to be tested just the same. That is two teams JIB will be meeting in the post season so why not get a feel of them regular season?

Blaah Blaah Blaah, You have no defense, thats the reason you've done well any of those years listed above, your defense is probably 3rd in the district only beating Central by a foot. Also from what i've heard you can't tackle. You won't be able to even stay close in this one, we do have a good offense and our defense is even better. We are bigger, Stronger, Faster, better conditioned and much more aggressive. There is no way you will win vs Union We are Union the bears you know not the Twin Springs Titans, or the Rye Cove Thunder Chickens Wait and see.

Burton's D over Union's D or Burton as a team over Union as a team? Defense the edge goes to Union, Burton being better as a team then Union will have to be decided on the field in a few weeks. But like the saying goes, you dont have to be the best in the nation every week, just the best on the field durring the game
